A fun fact about me…
I have an addiction to learning new things…in other words, I am a training junkie. Whether it’s for my travel business or my job as a job coach for adults with cognitive disabilities, I love to learn new things.
Greatest Joy / passion
I love watching the women that my daughters are becoming – that gives me immense JOY. I am most passionate about helping people make their travel dreams a reality.
The next place on my bucket list…
is any country where the Northern Lights are visible. I would also love to stay in an over-the-water bungalow in a tropical location.
My go-to getawayspot…
is Walt Disney World (no surprise there!) I am “Disneybounding” at least two to four times a year!
A travel quote you love
“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow” – Anita Desai
One thing I never travel without…
is my swimsuit. It doesn’t matter where I’m going, it Is always packed and ready to go.
My favorite Disney ride:
I have one at each theme park: Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom, Soarin’ at Epcot, Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, and Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom.
My favorite anything Disney:
The FOOD! Disney Parks and Disney Springs will not disappoint Foodies!
My most impactful travel experience...
was during the summer after my high school graduation. I traveled with a group to Quetico Provincial Park in Canada where we hiked and camped for six nights, with only enough food and supplies that we could carry on our backs. The supplies and canoes were portaged to get between the lakes. At night, we tied our food up in trees and slept on the ground. My favorite memories of that trip were seeing only blue skies and billowy clouds and hearing only the sounds of nature. The night sky was so full of stars that you could not begin to count their infinite numbers. Cooking fish we caught made us all grateful for the meals we conveniently enjoyed when at home. The lake water was so fresh and clean we could dip our cups in for a drink without worry. There were times I questioned our survival, but the sense of accomplishment when we finished was like nothing I have experienced since. It was a life-changing experience.
